A proxy/playtest card is a stand-in so you can test decks or play casual games without chasing expensive cardboard

Unfortunately, decks with lots of removal can kill this before the first trigger (it dies to Doom Blade), but it can be the nail in the coffin against aggro decks

I can also do everything Im trying to do without splashing green, using Devious Cover-Up, which I absolutely love, but its a little clunky and doesnt let me go huge with The Mending of Dominaria, though that might not be necessary
